Delain

Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in 2002 by former Within Temptation pianist Martijn Westerholt. Delain was founded by Martijn Westerholt, the ex-pianist and brother of Within Temptation founder Robert Westerholt. He left the band in 2001 because he suffered from Pfeiffer syndrome and founded Delain in 2002. The band began recording its first album, Lucidity, in July 2005, after signing a contract with Roadrunner Records. After being postponed several times, the album finally came out in the autumn of 2006 and enjoyed a certain success, allowing the band to begin a series of concerts. The second album, April Rain, came out in 2008. The first single is the title track April Rain; the second is Stay Forever.
