Despair

Of Polish origin and having emigrated to Germany with his family, Waldemar Sorychta is mainly known as guitarist and principal composer of Grip Inc. as well as a producer of albums at the Woodhouse Studios based in Hagen, Germany, a good number of which were made by the bands in which he played as a permanent member or guest. Before founding Grip Inc. with Dave Lombardo, the famous Slayer drummer, Waldemar Sorychta was a guitarist within the German Thrash bands Despair and Voodoocult. Despair recorded three albums from 1988 to 1992, then split up in 1994. Since then, no more news of the German band.
