Die Krupps

Die Krupps is a German Electronic body music band that evolved towards industrial metal and was founded in 1980 by Jürgen Engler and Bernward Malaka. From the band's formation in 1980, Die Krupps would work within E.B.M., combining electronic instruments (synthesizers, samplers, ...) with metallic percussion. One of the most famous achievements of Die Krupps' EBM period is the Tribute to Metallica, on which Metallica tracks are covered in their own style and with purely electronic sonorities. Starting with the album I, released in 1992, Die Krupps would take a resolutely industrial metal turn by incorporating guitars with a very metal sound into their electronic music.
