Divine Heresy is an American metal band made up of Fear Factory founder, guitarist Dino Cazares. Although the band's earliest origins go back to 2002, Divine Heresy was officially formed in 2006. The band currently consists of guitarist Cazares, former Vital Remains drummer Tim Yeung, and former Nile bassist Joe Payne. Tommy "Vext" Cummings was fired from the band after an onstage altercation on 26 April 2008. After auditions for a new member, it was announced on 14 August that Travis Neal, founder and singer of The Bereaved, is his replacement.
