Divine Regale

Divine Regale is a progressive metal band formed in 1990 in Dover, USA, around Daniel Elliott and Gary Leighton, the band's twin guitars. They released only one album, in 1997, called Ocean Mind on Metal Blade; the album was very well received by the public and earned them glowing reviews in the press. Drawing on the influences of Queensryche, but also Marillion (the Steve Hogarth era), Divine Regale shows maturity and discipline in songwriting, more inclined towards composition than towards a technical approach. They split up a few years after the album's release. Similar to Queensryche, Fates Warning or Marillion (the 1990s era).
