Dreams of Sanity

Dreams of Sanity was created in April 1991 by Christian Marx (guitar), Michael Knoflach (bass) and Hannes Richter (drums). During the summer of 1992, Gudrun Gfrerer (vocals) and Florian Razesberger (keyboard) joined the band. During the winter of 1993, Hannes Richter left the band and was replaced by Romed Astner on drums. Florian Razesberger became the second guitarist and Stefan Manges replaced him on keyboards. In addition to Gudrun Gfrerer, Birgit Moser and her friend Robert took part in singing with the band. In January 1997, they recorded the album Komödia at Zero-Point Studios and finalized it at Impuls Studios in Hamburg. In April 2002, singer Sandra announced that the band was splitting up after about 10 years of existence.
