Edenbridge

Edenbridge is an Austrian symphonic metal band, with a neoclassical metal sound in some songs. Their musical style is characterized by very airy sounds and by a wailing, rhythmic guitar most often used with a clean tone. Edenbridge was formed in 1998 by guitarist and keyboardist Lanvall, his girlfriend and singer Sabine Edelsbacher, and bassist Kurt Bednarsky. The lineup was completed with drummer Roland Navratil, who joined the band. Edenbridge quickly got to work, and recorded in the studio as early as 1999, after signing to the record label Massacre Records the same year. In the autumn of the following year, their first album, titled Sunrise in Eden, was released.
