Eidolon

Eidolon is a Canadian power metal band, originating from Toronto, Ontario. Formed in 1993 by two brothers, Shawn and Glen Drover, the band split up in 2007 after seven studio albums. The band returned in 2015 with the release of a single titled Leave This World Behind. The band signed to the label Metal Blade Records, but parted ways with it in 2004. Eidolon signed shortly afterwards to the label Escapi Records. The band has a total of seven studio albums by this period. In May 2004, the band parted ways with its singer Pat Mulock for musical and personal reasons according to an official statement. In 2005, Eidolon announced the arrival of a new singer, Nils K. Rue. In 2006, the band released its seventh album, The Parallel Otherworld.
