Emigrate

Emigrate is a European (Franco-German-Swedish-Norwegian) metal band founded in 2007 by Richard Zven Kruspe, the guitarist of Rammstein. The band is made up of five musicians coming from Rammstein, Combichrist, Clawfinger and Axel Bauer. The idea for this band germinated in the mind of Richard Zven Kruspe after Rammstein's Mutter period, following numerous tensions within the band and also to channel his creative energy - the cause of the tensions in Rammstein. He actually started recording demos in 2005 during Rammstein's Reise, Reise tour. On 5 September 2006 Richard put online an excerpt of Wake up to give a preview of what his music would sound like.
