Eminence

The band was formed in January 1995 by guitarist Alan Wallace Bello. Shortly afterwards, singer Beto Ferris, bassist Jairo Guedz (formerly of Sepultura) and drummer Adolfo Americano joined them. The band recorded its first demo the same year, followed soon after by the EP Faces. After the release of another EP bearing the band's name in 1998, the band began its first European tour that winter. In 1999, Chaotic System followed with its first album via Cogumelo Records, released in Europe on Diamond Records. The band now also had a second guitarist, Renato Amarante. A little later, singer Ferris left the band and was replaced by Wallace Parreiras. Americano and Amarante also left the band.
