Born from the ashes of past disappointments, drummer Alex (ex-Sybreed, ex-Maëlstrom) created a new project in early 2007 in Geneva, Switzerland. Inspired by bands such as Meshuggah, Soilwork, Frontline Assembly and Depeche Mode, Alex worked to blend aggression and sensitivity, melodies and harmonies, as well as complex rhythms, thereby creating a futuristic soundscape and ushering electro-metal into a new age. In 2011, the band changed its name to Breach Of Void.
