Evile

In 2000, two school friends, Matt Drake and Ben Carter, formed a cover band named Metal Militia, and mainly played Metallica. Matt's brother, Ol Drake, joined the line-up in his capacity as lead guitarist, along with Mike Alexander as bassist, having previously responded to an ad posted in a local guitar shop. The line-up thus set is still current, except for Mike Alexander, who would die in 2009. In 2004, the band released a first demo, All Hallows Eve, then a second in 2006, Hell Demo. The following year, the band released its first studio album, Enter the Grave, which would begin to make them known outside the regional scene. Around the middle of 2009, the band entered the studio in preparation for a second album, which was released toward the end of September of that same year.
