Exhumation

Exhumation is a Greek melodic death metal band founded in Thessaloniki in 1990. Among the first representatives of the classic Death Metal of the 1990s and later of Melodic Death Metal in Greece, Exhumation was founded in Thessaloniki in 1990 by John Nokteridis (vocals, bass) and Panos «Tweety» Giatzoglou (guitars) – the latter having left the pioneering Thessaloniki thrash metal band Acetic Voice. After completing the original lineup with Alex (guitars) and Fillys (drums), and carrying out numerous rehearsals, Exhumation entered Rock Sound Studios (Thessaloniki) to produce their first demo recording «The Rebirth» (1990).
