Exhumed

Formed more than 10 years ago, Exhumed is one of the most cult bands of the grind/death scene in the gore metal category. Playing with the filthiest possible imagery, as befits bands of the genre (see in particular the artwork of In the Name of Gore or the recent albums released on Relapse), Exhumed has released a slew of split EPs and taken part in a great many compilations, and this despite a very unstable lineup. Indeed, the core of Exhumed, namely Matt Harvey (guitar & vocals) and Col Jones (drums), has worn out dozens of musicians! The band has managed to establish its unstoppable style made of killer riffs, highly original solos and a screamed/guttural vocal duo to the best effect.
