Fairyland

Fairyland was created in 1998 by Willdric Lievin and Philippe Giordana, joined in the very first weeks by Thomas Cesario. The band was then called Fantasia. Sharing the same passion for symphonic metal, the three members began working on the project's first tracks. In 1999 the first demo, Tribute To Universe, is released. The band's style then evolved by adding an important touch of the fantastical, giving an epic character to their compositions. The second demo, Realm Of Wonders, is released in 2002. It benefited from good reviews in the metal scene. Fairyland then meets several musicians, including guitarist Anthony Parker who was then playing in the French band Heavenly. Of Wars In Osyrhia is recorded at Wizard Studio from February to November 2002.
