Garwall

GARWALL was formed in 1997 by Christophe CERVO (guitar) and Yann Levenot (bass). The band moves toward a Black Death style and records several demos; certain tracks, such as "Par dela le bien et le mal" and "Veni vidi vici", would appear on various compilations such as INNATE, Waging the war (Sepulcral records), The return of darkness and hate (Drakkar). After several line-up changes, the band records a mini-CD titled "Abyssus Abyssum Invocat", which was released in February 2002. Bassist Yann Levenot leaves the band after this recording and is replaced by Eric Savidan. In May 2003, Eric Savidan is replaced by Olivia Scemama (No Return) on bass. The first album is recorded at BST Hellart Studio and mixed by Jean-Jacques Moréac (Misanthrope). "Black beast" is released in June 2004.
