Website
Formed in 1979 in Portland, Oregon, by guitarist Sam Easley. The band released a three-track demo, Ready for Battle, in 1984 with a line-up made up of Easley and Goebel on guitars, Tim Proctor on bass, Loren Bates on drums and singer Michael Podrybau. The following year, Glacier released a self-titled EP, on AxeKiller Records. Then, in 1988, Glacier released a second demo with a significant change in line-up. Alongside Goebel and Bates were Troy Ketsdever on bass, Mehdi Farjami on guitars and session singer Tim Lachman. Two years later, in 1990, Glacier split up. 30 years later, in 2015, on Christmas Day, three digital singles were released, including "Sands of Time", an instrumental rehearsal of "Vendetta" from 1985, a reissue of the original 1985 recording, as well as a remastered version of "Vendetta".
