Gloryhammer

Gloryhammer is a British power metal band, originating from Scotland. Formed in 2010, the band plays a power metal with medieval metal tendencies, both visually (notably with their costumes) and musically. A side project of keyboardist and singer Christopher Bowes of the pirate metal band Alestorm, the band quickly caught the attention of Napalm Records, who signed them during 2012. They also recorded a demo in 2010 containing three songs, but which was not released. They define themselves on their official site as a band of "heroic fantasy power metal", notably because of the song themes relating to the fantasy universe.
