Grave

Founded in 1986 under the name Corpse, Grave adopted its new moniker in 1988. After a few demos and EPs, the band released its first album Into the Grave in 1991. After touring in Europe and the United States, a second album, You'll Never See..., landed in the racks the following year. Bassist Jonas Torndal then decided to leave the band. The band decided to continue as a trio and released a more experimental third album in 1994. In 1996 Jörgen Sandström left the band, Ola Lindgren taking over the vocals on the album Hating Life. After a tour on each side of the Atlantic and the release of a live album in 1997, the band remained dormant until its reformation in 1999.
