Green Jellÿ

Green Jellÿ (pronounced green jello and formerly Green Jellö) is a comedy rock band originally from the State of New York, formed in 1981. With their completely wacky costumes, one realizes that Gwar had invented nothing; one might even say they plagiarized them. The band released its first EP, Let It Be, in 1984, followed by the album Triple Live Möther Gööse at Budokan in 1989. Another four albums and two EPs would follow up to 2009. After that the band was no longer heard from.
