Haggard

Haggard is a German symphonic metal band, founded in 1991. The band manages to combine folk, classical music and melodic metal in the spirit of the Medieval and Renaissance eras. At its formation, Haggard only played death metal. The band changed musical genre after its first demo, titled "Introduction", in 1992, by including symphonic elements and classical instruments in its compositions. The album "And Thou Shalt Trust... The Seer" was a revelation in 1997. After their second album "Awaking the Centuries", released in 2000, they carried out two tours in Mexico. The band has no fewer than 21 musicians for the album, on which all the songs are written by Asis Nasseri, the band's singer and guitarist.
