Singer Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy reformed Hanoi Rocks in 2001, and were active with the band's new line-up until 2009. After starting their career in Finland then Sweden, the band decided to move to England in order to broaden their audience. They then multiplied small concerts and began to make a name for themselves thanks to the albums Oriental Beat and Self Destruction Blues.
