In 1991, the brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli, who set the Sunset Strip ablaze with their band Brunette, crossed paths with Neal Schon, former guitarist of Carlos Santana and founding member of Journey. They enlisted the services of Todd Jensen on bass and Deen Castronovo on drums, who had taken part in the Bad English adventure with Neal Schon between 1989 and 1991. The musicians know each other, they are good, they are going to let the guitars scream and cut loose on the drums! 1992: "Double Eclipse". The 12-track effort is explosive! The riffs are powerful, the guitars melodic, the rhythm section very dynamic, the whole wrapped in a glittering production. Unfortunately, the time was no longer right for the lyrical flights of Hard FM. The West Coast let itself be scarred by Seattle grunge. The album did not break through commercially. Neal Schon left the band, followed by Castronovo and Jensen.
