Helstar

Helstar was formed in Houston, Texas, in 1982, by singer James Rivera and guitarist Larry Barragan. Helstar started out in a heavy metal style in 1983 with 2 demos, followed by a first studio album in 1984 titled Burning Star on the label Combat Records, alongside the bands Megadeth and Exodus. After a year of line-up changes, they released a second album, Remnants of War, also on the Combat label, produced by Randy Burns.
