Holy Moses

Holy Moses was formed by Ramon Brüssler, Jochen Fünders and Peter Vonderstein in Aachen (Germany) one day in October 1980. Just 4 days later, they would give their first concert. On the occasion of their first anniversary, the band would be invited to its first big concert opening for Venom in Eindhoven. Peter was then replaced by Paul Linzenich and in 1981 Andy Classen replaced Jochen Fünders. They hired a certain Iggy on vocals, who would quickly be thrown out for ambitions contrary to those of the band. It was Andy's girlfriend who would end up at the mic, her name, Sabina Classen. Not very enthusiastic, she tried to sabotage her position by bellowing instead of singing, which would fail completely since she would remain more than ever The singer of Holy Moses, thus making this young band the first band with a female singer who growls.
