Honeymoon Suite

Honeymoon Suite is a Canadian rock band, originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario. It was formed in 1981. The band's name comes from the fact that Niagara Falls is the - unofficial, however - honeymoon capital. Originally, the band was formed in 1981 by singer and guitarist Johnnie Dee (from Niagara Falls, Ontario), guitarist Derry Grehan (from St. Catharines, Ontario) and drummer Mike Lengyell, formerly part of the band Diodes. They quickly landed a deal with WEA Canada following the release of their song New Girl Now. In 1984, they released the album Honeymoon Suite, from which four hits emerged in Canada: New Girl Now, Burning In Love, Wave Babies and Stay In the Light. The song New Girl Now is their first single to reach the top 50 in the United States.
