In Arkadia

In Arkadia is a Modern Melodeath/Deathcore band formed in Lyon in 2005 following various encounters at concerts. Mainly influenced in its early days by bands like Children Of Bodom and Iced Earth, In Arkadia was, at the outset, a blend of Thrash and Melodic Death Metal. It now claims to be a modern Melodeath band tinged with Deathcore. The first self-produced album was quickly recorded, Release The Shadow, with 11 tracks reflecting the band's musical direction. After several concerts all over France, the band presented Blind Oppression, their second album, also self-produced and marked by a more Thrash orientation. The third album, Wasteland Chronicles, marked a new step for the band, with professional-quality production and prestigious guests such as Kai Hansen of Gamma Ray.
