Infectious Grooves was formed in 1989 by Mike "Cyco Miko" Muir and Robert Trujillo, respectively the singer and bassist of the band Suicidal Tendencies. At the creation of the band, Muir and Trujillo recruited on guitars Adam Siegel and Dean Pleasants, and on drums Stephen Perkins (ex-Jane's Addiction). Their first attempt, Booty Movin Sampler, contains only three tracks. It would moreover only be released on audio cassette. It is more of a promotional demo than an album.
