Jack Russell / Tracii Guns

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Great White made their Top 40 debut with their version of Ian Hunter's « Once Bitten Twice Shy », which reached number five in 1989 and became a gold single for the Los Angeles quintet. Their softer composition « The Angel Song » followed into the Top 40 later that year, with singer Jack Russell balancing beauty and power in his delivery. The following year, in the early 1990s, L.A. Guns made their Top 40 debut with « The Ballad of Jayne » featuring an electrifying guitar solo from Tracii Guns. Today, Frontiers Music has reunited Jack Russell and Tracii Guns under the name Russell – Guns, drawing not only on their hair metal era genre, but also on the classic 1970s rock sounds of Deep Purple, Boston and Foreigner.
