Jane’s Addiction

Jane's Addiction is an American alternative metal band, originally from Los Angeles, California. For most of their career, the band comprised singer Perry Farrell, bassist Eric Avery, guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins. After their break-up in 1991, Jane's Addiction briefly toured in 1997, reunited in 2001 and hit the road again in 2004. The band reunited once more in 2008. Jane's Addiction's varied musical style is influenced by punk rock, heavy metal, post-punk, and psychedelic rock. Jane's Addiction was one of the first alternative rock bands to gain media attention and commercial success in the United States.
