Kabbal

Kabbal is a Monegasque Death Metal band formed in 1999. After three demos released between 1999 and 2001, the band recorded its first album, Synthetically Revived, the following year. After three demos ('The Wretched', 'Supreme Ritual' and 'Heretic'), the two founders of the band, accompanied by new musicians, finally released their album: eight tracks in thirty-nine minutes of death metal, judiciously combining brutal passages and heavier passages. A tortured and dark spirit (despite a yellow cover) inhabits Kabbal's music, both musically and lyrically. In conclusion, some good little death metal that revolutionizes nothing in its style but still goes down very well. Worth discovering...
