Kaledon

Kaledon was created during the second half of 1998 when guitarist Alex Mele left the band River of change. After the split, Alex immediately contacted bassist Paolo Iezziroli and guitarist Tommaso Nemesio. After some lineup problems, they were able to start playing concerts at the Roman theatre. Kaledon replaced the original drummer Daniele Staccini with Dario Sacco. In the autumn of 1999, they were able to put their first demo, Spirit of the dragon, up for sale, but without a keyboard player. Fabio Bernardi, also from River of change, joined the band for six months. During that time, Fabio recorded two demos with the band, Spirit of the dragon and God says yes. They recorded the track Courage, for a tribute album to Manowar. In October 2001, they signed a contract with the Italian company SteelBorn Records.
