WebsiteKamelot is an American power metal band founded in Tampa (Florida) in 1991 by guitarist Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner. It signed a contract with the label Noise Records and became known during the full renaissance of melodic heavy metal in the mid-1990s. Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner founded Kamelot in Tampa (Florida) in 1992. In 1994, they signed a contract with Noise Records and their first album, Eternity, was released in August the following year. The press immediately saw in this album the sign of a promising start. In 1996 the next album, Dominion, was released, an opus even more diverse and varied than that of their debut. Then, in 1997, drummer Richard Warner and singer Mark Vanderbilt had to be replaced. Kamelot then found Casey Grillo and, in the former member of Conception, singer Roy Khan.
