Katmandu

Among the bands from Ireland that have left a discographic trace, even a very small one, in the history of hard rock, one can cite Katmandu. This quartet, formed by Fastway singer Dave King, had the luck of being on Sony/Epic and took its first discographic steps in 1991 with the release of a self-titled album. At the time, the band's name (given its origins) may have made more than one person smile, since Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal.
