Killers

Killers is a French heavy metal band, originally from Bardos, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. With more than 20 studio albums and a DVD, they explore many facets of metal music (heavy, speed, sometimes thrash) with varying degrees of stylistic dominance depending on the album. The band is made up of Patrick Oliver on bass, Thierry Andrieu on guitar and backing vocals, Bruno Dolheguy on guitar and vocals and Vincent Roubière on drums (in concert). The lyrics written by Bruno Dolheguy are always sung in French (sometimes in Basque). Killers was formed in 1982, or 1984 depending on the sources, in Bardos, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The band was originally called Genocide, in reference to the eponymous track by Judas Priest.
