Krabathor is a Czech death metal band, originally from Staré Město, in the district of Uherské Hradiště. The band was formed by Christopher in 1984 in Staré Město, in the district of Uherské Hradiště. The band's name is inspired by Krabat, the protagonist of the German fairy tale The Satanic Mill. In 1988, Krabathor released its first rehearsal as a demo, quickly followed by two other demos. In 1991, a genuine demo, Pocity Detronizace, was recorded, and then the band signed a two-album contract with the label Monitor Productions.
