L.A. Guns

In the 1980s, Tracii Guns formed a band called L.A. Guns with Michael Jagosz on vocals, Ole Beich on bass and Rob Gardner on drums. Michael Jagosz was sent to prison and replaced by singer Axl Rose. Axl Rose would not stay very long within the band; indeed, he left it upon Michael Jagosz's return and created Hollywood Rose. After some time, Tracii Guns, Rob Gardner and Ole Beich (of L.A. Guns) as well as Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin (of Hollywood Rose) combined their respective bands. A new band was created, Guns N Roses (Guns from L.A. Guns and Roses from Hollywood Rose). Very quickly, Tracii left the band because of a falling-out with Axl Rose. The music of L.A. Guns is often associated with the glam metal scene. It was in 1988 that they recorded their first album with Vertigo Records, L.A. Guns.
