Lethal

Lethal is an American progressive metal band formed by guitarist Eric Cook in 1982 in Hebron, Kentucky. Lethal decided they wanted a different singing style, and in 1984 Brian Goins was let go and Tom Mallicoat was invited to join the band. Lethal made an appearance with the line-up made up of Tom Mallicoat, Eric Cook, Glen Cook, Dell Hull and Jay Simpson. A second concert was planned but was cancelled due to circumstances beyond the band's control. The band recorded its first demo, The Arrival, in 1987. The first album, Programmed, came out in 1990. Two more albums would follow. The band split up in 1996. Eric Cook died on 23 August 2012 of cancer, presumably of the lungs.
