Letter X is a traditional/progressive heavy metal band from Germany (Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg). Formed in 1988, they enjoyed some success in the 1990s with three full-length albums. The first was released on Steamhammer Records in 1991, "Time of the Gathering". Their last album was released in 1996 by Zero Corporation and titled "Reflections". The band has since reunited with line-up changes, but no new release has yet been issued.
