WebsiteLillian Axe is an American hard rock band formed in 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The first album, Lillian Axe, was released in 1988. It was with Poetic Justice, released in 1992, that they became known worldwide. Formed in the late '80s, early '90s. After 4 albums and numerous tours, notably in Europe, the band took a break in '95. Lillian Axe started up again in '99 and released a compilation of B-sides, "Fields Of Yesterday", followed by a live album in 2002. But the band experienced upheavals in its members, and of the original group only Steve Blaze would remain. On 30/11/2014, the band announced the death of Jon Ster, the formation's original guitarist. Lillian Axe signed with the label Global Rock Records for their new album 'From Womb To Tomb' and the reissue of some of the band's older tracks.
