Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit was created in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, by Fred Durst, a policeman's son, and Sam Rivers. Sam introduced Fred to his cousin John Otto, who took on the role of drummer. Rob Waters, for his part, was recruited for the guitarist position. During the following year, the band released a first cassette demo entitled Mental Aquaducts. Rob Waters left the band shortly afterwards. Terry Balsamo (future Cold then Evanescence) would take the guitarist position for some time before leaving in turn. It was Wes Borland who would ultimately be the band's guitarist.
