Live

Live started out in the early 1980s under the name First Aid, as a trio: Taylor, Dahlheimer and Gracey. Kowalczyk joined them in 1984, when the band (now renamed Action Front) had lost a talent contest. They would change names several times to Action Front, Body Odor Boys, Paisley Brues and Club Fungus, before renaming themselves Public Affection in January 1987. As the band (called Public Affection) graduated from high school, they released an audio cassette entitled The Death of a Dictionary in 1989. In 1990, they released the demo EP produced by Jay Healy, Divided Mind, Divided Planet, on Black Coffee.
