Lizzy Borden

Lizzy Borden is a heavy metal band, formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Lizzy Borden, in reference to Lizzie Andrew Borden (19 July 1860 – 1 June 1927), who was the central figure in a court case surrounding the double axe murder of her father and stepmother on 4 August 1892 in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States, is also the pseudonym of the singer, the band's leader. The band has undergone many line-up changes throughout their career. Recently the band announced the reunion with guitarist Ira Black, then the release of a new album in 2007: Appointment With Death, followed by a world tour the same year.
