WebsiteLonewolf is a French heavy metal band formed in 1991 by Jens and Walkyr. It was briefly called "Walpurgis Night" before adopting Lonewolf in 1992, in reference/homage to the Running Wild track on the album "Blazon Stone". The band has always played a very '80s-flavoured Heavy Metal, without keyboards or female choir. Two guitars, a bass and drums to accompany the vocals. For many years, due to the considerable influence of the German band on Jens Börner's compositions, Lonewolf has very often been portrayed as the French "Running Wild". This parallel stops at the purely musical aspect.
