Lord Bane

LORD BANE is a progressive metal band formed in Boston, MA, United States, in 1990. The band formed in the winter of 1990 when singer, guitarist and main composer Shawn Ames moved from New Orleans to Boston. Here, he teamed up with drummer Wes Bordelon and LORD BANE was born. Bassist Eric Yawnaway was added to the line-up later. After releasing a demo in 1993, LORD BANE released their first album, "Age of Elegance", via Rising Sun Records. The album was distributed via Nordic Metal in Scandinavia, where LORD BANE had the most success. The band remained inactive for a long period between the mid and late '90s, but released a second album in 2003, entitled "The Needle's Eye".
