Lyriel

Lyriel is a German folk metal band from Gummersbach. Formed in 2003, the band has to its credit five studio albums, a live DVD (Live auf Burg Greifenstein in 2005) and a compilation of the first two albums (The First Chapters released in 2009). The band's line-up remained unchanged until 2008. Lyriel played as an opening act at concerts for bands such as Elis, Visions of Atlantis, Regicide, Xandria, Corvus Corax, Saltatio Mortis, Oomph, Korpiklaani and Manfred Mann's Earth Band. Their second album, Autumntales, was released on 29 September 2006. It includes a cover of the song Hijo de la Luna.
