WebsiteMagica is a Romanian power metal band from Constanţa. The band was formed in February 2002 in Constanţa. Magica is a project of guitarist Bogdan Costea, a member of a local gothic metal band. The band began recording their first studio album in spring 2002. The recording lasted about two months. This album, The Scroll of Stone, is a work influenced by bands like Rhapsody of Fire, Nightwish and Helloween. Despite little promotion, this album achieved fairly great success, showing the band's potential.
