Mandator

Mandator, also known as: ex-Mysto Dysto, is a Dutch Speed Thrash band, formed in 1983 in Emmen, Drenthe. The band was formed in 1983 under the name Mysto Dysto, named after an effects pedal that received extremely bad reviews. The first local performances followed before the release of the first demo, Heavy Guys Don't Look Back, in 1984. The demo was followed by the first album The Rules Have Been Disturbed in 1986. The pressing of the recording was limited to 500 copies. The following year, the band recorded another demo entitled No Aids in Hell, which was sent to various labels. The demo sold more than 1,000 copies. The band was then represented at Aardschok. The band was also voted the most promising Dutch band by the readers of Aardschok and Dutch Metal Hammer in April 1987.
