Manigance

Manigance is a French power metal, progressive metal and traditional heavy metal band, formed in the Pau region (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) in 1995. Formed by guitarist François Merle (ex-Killers) and drummer Daniel Pouylau, joined by Didier Delsaux on vocals, Manigance initially covered Van Halen, Pretty Maids, Toto, Judas Priest, etc. Seeing that it was catching on, the musicians composed a few tracks to make their first demo (recorded with makeshift means in the basement of a friend's house). They then contacted Alain Ricard, the boss of Brennus, and proposed to him releasing a 6-track mini-CD. So in 1997 Signe de vie was released in a limited edition of 500 copies.
