Melancholy Pessimism

Melancholy Pessimism was founded by singer Vlasta "Killy" Mahdal, drummer Petr Malůš and bassist Richard Kocourek. For a while, Peťa Kryštof of Krabathor also helped out on guitar in the band, and he was soon replaced by Petr Pištěk. A five-song demo was created with this line-up in 1992. Afterwards, the band's composition changed several times, and in 1995, MP recorded its first album, Reward To Saints, released in March 1996. The launch took place in the presence of the British band Benediction. About 3,000 units were sold. After that, the line-up's composition changed again, the core of the band being Vlasta and bassist Flegin.
